The aptly named Hunter John Foote of Worthington, Minnesota, bagged his first bird with his dad Bryon Foote. Looks like a PF shelterbelt project (trees and fabric)! Cody Mercer of Charles City, Iowa, bagged his first bird recently during the state’s youth season. David Pavlik of Omaha Nebraska (pictured) and his brother Andrew both got their first roosters recently on a hunt in southwest Iowa. Andy Riesterer of Sandusky, Ohio, dropped his first rooster with his springer Jewel at the Resthaven State Wildlife Area during a youth hunt. Brandon VanderZee brought down his first bird with his dad Larry in the nation’s pheasant capitol, South Dakota, near his home in Sioux Falls.
